Arras Occasional Table

VG0922

Description

Details

An elegant and unusually long Arras table.

It's referred to by Grassin-Baledans as "Table Carrees longues a 2 pieds pour cafes" which simply translates as "long rectangular table with two legs for cafes".

The table is made from the Arras patented Fer Elegi (semi-circular hollow metal) frame, with decorative scrolls. It has the typical claw feet of 19th century Arras, and the maker's plaque is on the frame. It now has a fantastic, vivid red patina.

Perfect for a patio, balcony or garden room.

French, circa 1880.
