Large 19th Century Italian Urn

VG0105

Description

Details

An elegant and generously-sized 19th century Italian urn.

We found this graceful urn in a market in Milan, where it was reputedly found in storage in a large house on Lake Como.

It's a lovely piece, with a simple shape that gives it a rather contemporary look. Still with its original paint finish, it would look good as a planter on a patio or balcony, or could alternatively be used indoors as statement vase. Or, simply make the most of its classic, curved shape and keep it as a purely decorative item.

Italian, 19th century.

Height:78cm Diameter: 55cm
