Yellow Jardiniere

VG0223

Description

Details

A simply beautiful jardiniere with a hand-forged, wrought-iron base.

This elegant piece comprises an attractive wire-work basket with an intricate curling pattern, and a matching stand with a similarly curvy design .

The basket is lined with tin, ready to display plants or flowers: it looks particularly striking with brightly-coloured blooms. Both the frame and the basket have a lovely painted patina.

French, circa 1930s.
