A really lovely pair of composite stone akroteria each featuring a Puti sitting on a scroll holding a garland. These would have been designed in the 19th century as a pair to sit on either end of a plinth probably on a building for entirely decorative purposes.
In good condition considering age and use and intricately moulded we bought them considering they would be reused together as an outstanding focal point in the garden.
Minor chips, hairline cracks and losses
Generally in very good condition, well weathered with the odd chip and small crack. All of which would be expected for a piece this age having been exposed to elements as it has.
