Lyon Rope Armchair

A rare garden chair typically made in Lyon in the 19th-century. This chair would make a fabulous feature piece in the home particularly when contrasted with soft furnishings. The frame is made from wrought iron which would have been twisted under heat to resemble rope. The seat is sheet metal which has had an attractive star-shaped pattern stamped into it.
