A wonderful English cast iron urn which we bought purely because of its wonderful painted patina which has developed into a bark-like look after many years of overpainting and weathering. We imagine this as an internal centrepiece housing seasonal plants and flowers.
Condition
Minor chips, hairline cracks and losses
As can be seen from the pictures there is a loss to rim of the urn. This is incidental to the wonderful patina and cannot be seen even looking from the side and does not therefore detract at all from the decorative impact of the piece.
