We bought these beautiful confit pots in a market in Bordeaux. “Confit” is French for “to preserve” and little pots like this one were used for preserving food usually in a larder but sometimes buried underground! Confit pots have a very pleasing shape, with two small handles and a plump round body. The green glaze is extremely attractive and in wonderful condition for a domestic item. Prices are from £195.00 per pot and vary depending on size. Please contact us for further details.
