1954 by Tito Agnoli (1931-2012) for Pierantonio Bonacina
This very stylish and rare bar with two stools was designed by Tito Agnoli in 1954 for Bonacina after Agnoli had left the University of Milan and had finished an internship with Gio Ponti.
In unusually good condition this stunning piece would make a focal/talking point in any situation as well as being a functional bar set if required. Part of Violet Grey’s collection of vintage garden room furniture.
Condition
Wear consistent with age and use
Both the bar and stools are in very good condition considering the age and use. There are minor impairments and scuffs to the wicker itself but it is hardly noticeable and there are only a few broken or damaged wicker strands. The bar top and the seats of the stools are in faux leather which is in good condition with no tears and just a few minor scratches. The wicker has not faded and is a consistent colour throughout.
