19th Century Biot Jar
Description
There’s a timeless feel about this attractive Provencal biot jar.
It’s amazing what you can find on a farm! This large terracotta biot jar still with remnants of glazing on the rim and the interior is very well weathered, with a really nice patina. It’s a simple shape, which lends itself to a variety of uses and planting schemes. It is large enough to offset some dramatic planting or to work as a stand-alone garden accessory.
French, mid 19th century.
Size: height 72cm, diameter 60cm
